An Organized & Styled Craft Room with Alyson Hannigan - featured in People Magazine
Have you ever wanted to convert an entire guest house into a haven for creativity and crafting? Yeah, me too. Unfortunately, it's not really a luxury I think I'll be able to have any time soon. ;) Fortunately, I get to live vicariously through my clients and in this case, Alyson Hannigan and her adorable/awesome family. A Colorful and Modern Playroom:
Moving is one of the most stressful things one can do. Moving with a one-year-old while seven months pregnant? Well, let's just say, I'm glad Monica reached out for a little bit of help. Monica's husband was really involved with a lot of the other spaces in the home, but gave the reigns to her for this special multi-functional room. I loved the idea of making a playroom that adults can enjoy too. It was a unique challenge, but when Monica mentioned she'd be open to a fun wallpaper, I knew this project was going to be a fun one. A Pop-Up Space in DTLA for Red Bull Music Academy
My Challenge: Improve and implement a pop-up space that doubled as a radio station and office in DTLA in just three days. That's right. Only three days. Here's how it went down. Read More....
A Cool Grey Burbank Bungalow
Max and Jenn are one of those couples you like immediately; funny and down-to-earth, they're the type of client I consider a friend when the project is done. They had a LOT to do, so lucky for me, I got to spend lots of time with them. The project went in three phases: 1) Master Suite renovation 2) Living Room Makeover and 3) Nursery setup. Read More...
A Manhattan Beach Office Renovation
When getting into the world of interiors, if someone would have told me, "Designing a Recovery/Outpatient Center can be really fun!" I probably would have laughed a bit. (Okay, a lot.) An 'outpatient center' sounds to me like a big ol' "hospital" and there's nothing that sounds fun about that. That was until I met Mike, of course. Read More...
The Full Flex Express Train Car Studio & Lounge:
My Challenge: Take an empty, 80ft baggage car and create a mobile lounge area and studio for Skrillex, Diplo and all the artists & DJs on the Full Flex Express tour in Canada, half designed within Red Bull branding needs and wants, half designed for the Frank & Oak brand. This project was most definitely one of the most difficult feats I’ve ever taken on - but man, did I have my creative fun with it. Read more...
A "Country Beach" Studio Makeover:
This project with Kyle is one of my favorite ones to date because it is the essence of what I love to do: help crazy-busy people take control of their space and simply reveal the potential that was there all along. From a lifestyle element, she likes to exercise from home, entertain and she also has an adorable cat, Hermione, who needs her own personal space in the apartment. Furthermore, there was a period of time early in her career when Kyle didn't even know if she was staying in LA, so she never really invested in any major furniture or decor that would make the apartment feel permanent. Needless to say, I was glad Kyle gave me a call because it was about time she deserved to finally get a space that did everything she needed to do and made her feel good. Read more...
